  • WHAT IS THE SERVICE?

    Smarticket.it is a convenient, fast and secure way to pay for parking on the blue lines. Convenient, because you only need to pay for the minutes consumed, Rapid, because you do not need to insert coins in the parking meter, Safe, because the transaction is protected by banking security technologies.

  • HOW CAN I USE SMARTICKET.IT?

    It is necessary to have a smartphone to use the service (iOS, Android e Windows Phone supported) by installing one of these apps: BNL PAY or Hello! PAY.

  • DOES A MINIMUM AMOUNT NEED TO BE LOADED ON SMARTICKET.IT TO USE THE SERVICE?

    There is no minimum amount required: Pay only for the minutes used.

  • DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A MINIMUM TIME TO PARK?

    It depends on the area where you are parking. In some areas with blue lines, there is a "proximity rate", provided with fixed costs that cannot be divided for the predetermined parking duration (for example: 0,50 € for 1 hour, 1,00 € for 2 hours, 2 € for 12 hours, 3 € for 16 hours). Instead, in other areas you can purchase just a few minutes to park and if you return earlier than expected, you can stop the timer and pay only for the minutes that you have used.

  • CAN I TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE DISCOUNTED RATES ON SMARTICKET.IT?

    Certainly! Smarticket.it always offers you beneficial rates based on the parking time you have inserted. For example, some parking areas have a rate of 1 euro; for the first four hours, and 4€ from 4 to 8 hours. In this case, if you were to set 6 hours to park, or extend to more than four hours to park, Smarticket.it automatically extends to 8 hours after the time has finished, only charging you the special rate of 4€.

  • ARE THERE ANY EXTRA FEES TO PAY WITH SMARTICKET.IT?

    Only for the City of Bologna, there is an additional fee of 5% to park.
    Instead, for the other cities that are covered by the services there are no additional fees.

  • HOW IS MY INFORMATION PROTECTED?

    Smarticket.it service is available exclusively on bank applications within the mobile banking. (for example, the app BNL PAY!); so your payment methods are always protected with the highest security standards, those that are used in the banking sector.

  • IS IT POSSIBILE TO RECEIVE A FINE BY PAYING THE PARKING WITH SMARTICKET.IT?

    Paying the parking with Smarticket.it is the best way to avoid getting a ticket. When you activate the parking time, your data is transmitted in real time to the parking company, by enabling proper verification of the payment. If you are having problems with a fine, you can always contact us at supporto@smarticket.it attaching a copy of the dispute and the invoice of the parking done. We will provide you all the necessary support to check directly with the parking company about the possible mistake. We recommend that you carefully examine if the plate number inserted on Smarticket.it and the license plate of your vehicle corresponds because, in case you made a mistake on the plate number on Smarticket.it, we cannot cancel the fine that you have received for inserting the wrong plate number.

  • WHAT DO I DO IF I FIND A FINE ON MY CAR WITH A PLATE NUMBER THAT DOESN'T CORRESPOND TO MINE?

    In some rare cases it can happen that the control officer, parking enforcement officer or traffic officer, mistakenly inserts the plate number on their device making a mistake on a number or a letter. In such a case, resulting that the plate is not associated with a paid parking in progress, a fine is issued. If you find a fine on your vehicle that is not yours, do not worry! Tell us the mistake immediately by writing an email to supporto@smarticket.it, attaching a copy of the minutes and a summary of your parking. We will report the mistake to the parking company, in order to avoid consequences to the owner of the plate on the report. After reporting to us, you can safely ignore the fine that you got, because the only specific reference that will be used to bring the fine to the car owner is the plate number. If the plate number is different from your vehicle, then you have nothing to fear, because we will take care of it, interacting with the parking company, to investigate the case and the cancellation of the fine recorded for the wrong plate.

  • DO I HAVE TO SHOW THE CONTROLLER PROOF THAT I HAVE PAID THE PARKING WITH SMARTICKET.IT?

    In the following cities you are obligated to put the Smarticket.it logo on the windshield of your car:
    City of Turin (Download the Smarticket.it logo cutout)
    Remember that parking companies will always control on their device even if they do not find the Smarticket.it logo. Only in the case of not being able to control via the handheld device will make the difference:They will then call to control if the plate number has been paid with Smarticket.it.

    In the following cities you are not obligated to put the Smarticket.it logo on the windshield of your car:
    City of Bologna, City of Roma, City of Lucca
    In these cities you are not obligated to display a Smarticket.it logo on your windshield showing your parking is activated with Smarticket.it. The parking company always needs to verify the correct payment of parking by entering your plate number. Even if there is no risk of a fine, if you want, you can print the Smarticket.it logo and keep it on your windshield. (Download) it to advise the controller what service you have used to pay the parking.

  • WHAT DOES A PARKING COMPANY HAVE TO DO TO JOIN SMARTICKET.IT?

    Smarticket.it promotes their service to parking companies, offering the software free of charge to record parking to all operators who wish to join the service. The software supports multiple operators and complies to the best practices adopted in the market. The software is offered as an open source license AGPLv3 or available as a SaaS service.
